I truely believe I am pregnant with twins(10 weeks) but no doctor will send me for and u/s till 20 weeks. I have been so excited to start planning my UA as soon as I was pregnant. It just made complete sense when I went through the list of what I wanted during labor, and what I was comfortable with. I havew been so excited in preparing myself by reading alot and educating myself about everything me and my partners need to make sure we are as safe as possible. I live an hour away from hospitals who could actually handle what I would need at the point I decided to go into the hospital for what ever reason. We do have midwives and I have cheated the system to aquire one because there are none in our area. I really believe that my home is where I am ment to birth. But I doubt we can convience her to come here(however we do have a plan). Unfortunately she won't deliver twins, and around here you are blessed with the lottery if you get through the waiting list to the midwives so she really is my only option I can't try to get another. DH said on the way home that he guesses if we are having twins and she won't deliver them we are going the hospital route. I casually and automatically said No not nessessarily. I was actually kind of peeved at his assumption. But I didn't properly weigh the actual concept until just now. But even now I still want to see if I can do this UA with twins. It's definately not crossed off the list even though if things don't work out it could possibly be crossed off. But all I needed was to read your story and now I feel the confidence in me to treat this pregnancy, as just that, a pregnancy. Thank you for sharing this story.

The worse part is I have no way of knowing for sure for 10 more weeks! This waiting is driving me crazy, especially since I've had spotting. Stupid doctors!

Come from a lady that 9w3d with twins of her own, this was just wonderful to read, thanks!

Absolutely beautiful! Both of them and their story!

Thank you so much for this wonderful birth story! I read it three years ago when I was pregnant and planning my unassisted birth. I send it to my best friend who got twin girls, and now to my sister who is pregnant with twin boys! I hope so much that she will have a beautiful birth.....

I am a midwife myself. Undisturbed birth is the most natural thing on earth and we have to preserve and rescue it. Your story is giving inspiration and strength to many women. Thank you.
