http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foreskin

Functions

The World Health Organization state that there is "debate about the role of the foreskin, with possible functions including keeping the glans moist, protecting the developing penis in utero, or enhancing sexual pleasure due to the presence of nerve receptors".[19]

This section needs more information and more sources!

I've never changed wikipedia, but I know anyone can, so get after it!

The tone of that sentenced was obviously written by someone justifying circumcision under their breath.

I never changed Wikipedia either but the tone of the article is seeming to favor circumcision. The author also is not using the word "intact".

I hope another savvy computer mom can come along and get this changed for us.

As I understand it there is a battle going on over the content of Wikipedia pages regarding all things circ and foreskin related.  This guy: http://circleaks.org/index.php?title=Jake_H._Waskett and this guy: http://circleaks.org/index.php?title=Brian_J._Morris , are continually editing pages to suit there opinions, ranging from smegma to Marilyn Milos.

This is why Wikipedia cannot be taken as fact. I would hope that anyone considering any surgery would look to places other than Wikipedia before making their final decision.
