Hi,

I am getting real big now (too early, but anyqay) and am looking for maternity stuff that I can make by  myself.

What do you all wear? Do you know tutorials for cloth changing?

I cannot stand tight stuff on my belly, therefor it needs to be under the belly things, or real comfortable...

Any suggestions?

Trin with DH , DD(7)  and DS(5) ,  DD(2) ,
I am not regularly online at the moment due to the above ...

Here are a couple sites I've found with some easy maternity clothes you can make yourself. I haven't tried any myself yet, but I plan to in the next few weeks as I get bigger.

Also, www.diymaternity.com has lots of tutorials and ideas of how to alter clothes to fit bellies. I made the peasant top from their tutorial and it's great!

hee hee, that wallypop one is mine.

I've also had success buying really wide elastic (3 inch or so), cutting around already made skirts or pants right about at the waistline in the back, but down under my belly in the front, and then adding a stretch knit casing for the elastic. Result is just about the same as the "under the belly" style readymade maternity.

yup, that's what I wear - skirts with elastic/drawstring bands - empire waisted sundresses until it's cold.
