Some people use an herbal bath as well for this (which is what I'm going to do). Whether you do Witch Hazel or an herbal bath its super easy.

You will need a peri bottle (which you will want to have anyway), relatively thin pads, and a cookie sheet.

1. Spread the pads out on a cookie sheet. (I put a layer of waxed paper on cookie sheet first, but this isn't necessary)

2. squirt herbal bath on them.

3. put pads in the freezer

4. Once frozen remove from cookie sheet and put in a freezer bag so you are using less room.

5. put them in your panties (or depends) ahhhhh!

Any suggestion for a brand of pads? I only use a diva cup now, and I do have some organic pads but they are SUPER thick.

On topic-I've been having trouble finding witch hazel that isn't in 14% alcohol or for which it isn't the primary ingredient. Any recommendations or does the alcohol not matter? Seems like it would sting like crazy.

I dont have any real suggestions for the type of pad, but I've only done ones w/o wings because they would get annoying to unwrap. Witch hazel is an astringent so you would only want to use it for a few days. some herbs are as well, and while drying out is good... too much is just too much.
