I've heard breastmilk can work as a treatment for pinkeye, because it acts as a natural antibiotic. I'm pretty sure my almost 5yo son has conjunctivitis, and will bring him to the doc tomorrow to find out. Meanwhile I'm nursing my 2.5yo daughter, so I hand-expressed some milk and put a few drops in my son's eye with a dropper, figuring it couldn't hurt. Have any of your patients used this method and reported success?
