Do you have any knowledge of the following information posted on the CDC's web site regarding Prevnar? I understand that this statement is in regards to the older vaccine, not the newer Prevnar 13. But, wouldn't the same hold true for the newer vaccine? And if my healthy baby received one dose of Prevnar 13 at 2 months of age would that mean that that single dose is 96% effective against pneumococcal disease? Very confused by this.

"CDC conducted a study soon after PCV7 was licensed and found that the vaccine was 96% effective against pneumococcal disease in healthy children who received one dose or more..."
