Question, I have a 9 yr old boy and 3 yr old girl and live in Columbus, OH where there are over 100+ mumps cases that grow by 10-15 per the day. Both children are unvaccinated due to a very strong family history of autism, ADD in my son and MTHFR for both (daughter has 2 copies), and my brother being paralyzed for 2 weeks following the shot. My question is, what are the stats on deafness for adults versus children? The paper has run information that two people are now deaf but I don't know if they are adults or children. I was of the opinion that both sets of grandparents had this, and it was painful but doable. The thought of deafness makes me sick though. Now, I am starting to rethink and possibly vaccinate?
