I'd like to change people's roster info to reflect the sex of their baby (if they find out), but I really hate the whole pink/blue dichotomy. So I thought I'd see what everyone else would like. I'd also like to have a colour for those who aren't finding out, but I can't decide what would be good.

If you vote other, please explain. :) If other wins, I'll add in all the colours from other and do another poll.

(and yes, I know this is kind of silly)

Maybe lavender for those of us who aren't finding out? (pink+blue). Or a typical gender-neutral color like green. :)

I like pink for girls and blue for boys. duck.gif

for people who aren't finding out I'd do yellow or green.

I don't like the whole pink/blue thing, either, especially when it applies to everything.  But I think just used as a symbol it's the most straightforward.  I'd go for yellow as the neutral color.

So it's looking like the majority want pink/blue for those who are finding out gender & yellow is leading for those who aren't. I'm not sure yellow would show up very well on white, so unless there's a strong objection, I could go with green instead? That seems to be what's in second place.

I like blue for boys and green for unknown, but I hate pink for girls because I hate pink myself. how about red for girls? Not that it really matters :)

If yellow won't work on the white, how about orange?  It's such a bright, sunshiny colour and it's close to yellow.  :)

I'll make another poll so I can see where we're at. :)
