Diana, I started a 2nd trimester loss thread in pabl, I hope you'll join.
I was thinking about you... I hope the reason that I didn't get a message is because it happened sooner rather than later. I hope you and your family are well. Take care of yourself.
It's so very hard to deal with the emotional pain on top of the physical ordeal of going through labor, or at least it was for me. I'll be thinking of you and praying that everything goes as smoothly as it possibly can. I know I've said it before, but I'm so, so very so sorry that you have to go through this. Take care of yourself, and come back to talk with us when you're ready.
Strong single mama to Ethan (9/09) and Rowyn (7/12)
It went well, as well as it could go. It was the second dose that did it, our son, Benjamin Leo was born at 4:26pm on Aug 5. So perfect. I was able to go home later on, after 8pm so it was nice that I didn't need to stay overnight.
It's been a rough few days, and only seem to be getting worse, to be honest.
I wish you all safe and healthy pregnancies!
oh mama, i am happy to hear from you- i've thought of you so much. what a beautiful name to give your son. i am glad you got to go home so soon afterward.
i am so very sorry for everything you are going through right now. give yourself lots of time, and permission to feel whatever it is you are feeling. grieving is never a linear process.
i send you my love and lots of hope for healing and peace, when the time is right.
HCM- gentle, all-natural, unconditional mama to three boys (8,6,4) and new baby girl!
I'm so glad to hear that things went as well as they could've gone. I think it is so nice to be able to see and hold your baby... I know things seem so awful now but for so many that memory, however brief, is so precious. It seems to serve as a validation of life that can be so powerful in the healing process. I hope your body and heart heal quickly... and I hope you have lots of love around you to help fill in that empty feeling that is so challenging in the recovery. It does get better.
