I think my baby has cradle cap in her eyebrow area...we're going to the ped. thursday, but I wanted to know what is good to treat it from any moms who have experienced it.

EVOO.  Rub gently to loosen it all and absorb the oils in her scalp.  Wash as you normally would (with either water or baby shampoo).

For cradle cap on the scalp, I did olive oil with a toothbrush (recommended in The Baby Book from the Sears library). For eyebrows though, just a bit of breast milk. Not kidding at all! That stuff is magic!

Breastmilk!  It clears up irritation on his face and seems to moisturize his scalp really well.

I use something called shata dhauta ghrita - 100x washed ghee. Works amazing!
