I am just curious. Most of the students seem to be in AAMI, but I'm wondering where the LMs and CPMs went to school.

I did AAMI, but did not graduate from there. I just used it for my information and did the PEP process.

Erika, mama to three beautiful kids (plus one gestating), and wife to one fantastic man.

Apprenticeship trained and many years of self study, study groups, conferences and birth work in and out of hospital. I did the PEP process as well.

I started off with AAMI when I lived in SC and when I moved to NJ switched to National College of Midwifery. I got my ASM through them and am now working on my BSM.

Apprenticeship. I loved becoming a midwife in my own community and not having to leave to go to school. My community witnesed my transformation and was part of my "schooling". I loved it. Now I practice and still have my preceptors/mentors to guide me still. Michelle

Michelle (41), Mateo (43), Taro (16), Malaya (8), Jose (4), and little Kaleo (4 months), chickens, goats, dogs and cats on two cozy acres.
