I'd love to know why you're disturbed by this. As a birth photographer myself, it is an amazing and humbling responsibility to capture a life entering the world! All of these women have given written ok to have these photos in this contest and online. Many of them are my friends and I know the work that went into each of these amazing images. But I also understand that birth photography is not for everyone and respect that. Just honestly wondering why you feel that way

The sense of wonder on the mothers' faces is so palpable in many of the pictures. They are all beautiful.
