i am currently 34 weeks in my first pregnancy, so of course i'm panicky and worry alot... and i know everyone says not to do this but i recently checked my own cervix, to me from what i've read it seems some what open... also along with this i have had alot of sudden gushes, watery fluids mainly, not like 'normal' discharge... is there any reason i should contact my midwife or doctor? anything sound strange or any signs of preterm labor?

This is something you need to be talking to your midwife about.
