i just found out i am pregnant with my second child. my first labor, birthing, and postpartum experience was beyond dissapointing. all i wanted was a natural birth and my baby to be laid on my chest immediately and breastfeed. instead i ended up in slow horrible back labor for hours, an infection in the middle of it all,  my son's heart rate increasing, allergic reaction to epidural, c-section, needed demeral ( that i wasn't told about) due to the reaction to epidural. i dont remember my son being born and was not able to hold him becaue i could not stay awake and stop shaking due to the demeral and epidural. they gave my son formula because of it. i was kept of 3 antibiotics for days and we were both woken up hourly for blood checks and other things. my son also ended up needing medicine to clot his blood because he was bleeding to much after his circumsision. and i ended up ripping a hole in my incision and getting an infection. i want to birth my son at home the right way. can anyone reccomend a midwife in orange county with lower costs? feel free to message me as well.

Which Orange County? Many states have them. Is it California? Congratulations on your pregnancy! Home birth is great, midwives are great, a very good choice. I loved mine. You can also check in the Finding Your Tribe section on here.
