I am researching various doula certification programs. Both DONA and CAPPA I like but they both seem similar in price and requirements. Is there any large difference between the two? Have you found that clients prefer one over the other?
I did DONA because well, for a couple of reasons, It was available here and my training was run by a well respected midwife. I have never had anyone ask what kind of certification I had, if I was certified at all or with whom. I hope this helps!

I did Birth Arts International, and loved it. :) I work in a cooperative group with DONA and CAPPA doulas, and have been able to sign off for a local insurance company for their reimbursement for certified doulas.
