My doula just had me started on caulophyllum (30 ch.) today since my doc seems to be in a hurry to induce, even though I'm a few days past my EDD. I seem to remember the recommended dosage being 1 granule, 3 times a day (3 granules a day total), but the recommended dosage on the bottle states "5 granules, 3 times a day"....Does this mean 15 granules a day or 5 granules, spaced out throughout the day?

I've tried calling my doula but there's no answer, so I thought I'd ask here...

Typically caulophyllum is done with cimicifuga (black cohosh homeopathic) to tone the uterus and coordinate contractions.

I woudl think it would more likely be 5 pellets three times a day.

actually, i think it depends on the make, but the homeopathics I usually get are 1-2 pillules / dose. some are more though, i'd go with the dose on the bottle.
