Hi!

I just wanted to get some opinions.

My husband and I are going to start trying for our first bub in 7 weeks, on our honeymoon. We are going to Thailand, particularly the north of Thailand (Chiang Mai/Chiang Rai and surrounds) and want to start trying while there.

I have got all my travel shots, and chatted to my doc abaout Malaria prevention meds and trying.

He suggested that instead of taking malaria prevention meds, that I wear 80% DEET insect repellent when we go on our 3 day jungle trek, and for the rest of the time wear a 50% DEET repelent, and to generally use mosquito nets and good common sense...

He also gave me a malaria treatment drug, so if I get a suspecious tempetature and cant get to a hospital I start taking them just in case..

He said this would be the best advicefor someone trying for bubba...

Just wondering if you agree?

Not asking for medical advice (I know we cant do that here), just an educated and experienced opinion!

Thanks in Advance!
