Is there a list anywhere of traveling midwives and where they're willing to travel, as well as whether they'll take women who are pregnant with twins or who are planning VBACs?

Unfortunately not but we'd love to produce one. Got any ideas on how to go about it?

A sticky thread where midwives can post if/where they're willing to travel?Leave it open so they can change their posts when their situation changes.

I would suggest a group, but they're harder to find

Just found this online and thought I'd post it here in case anyone else does a search like me :)  I'm currently trying to find a midwife willing to travel to Alaska.  I don't know how accurate this list actually is, but there are quite a few names here.

When hiring someone for something like this, I would really caution you to research your potential provider. Confirm certifications and licenses, check references. Call NARM, check with the BBB.
