Hello Midwives,

I'm a student midwife, and am looking for an apprenticeship in Connecticut. I'm located in Stafford, but am happy to travel. If you're looking for an apprentice, I would love to connect. Or, if you know of a midwife looking for an apprentice - please let me know! I'm happy to supply you with a resume, any/all needed information.

Hi MamaArmadillo,

Are you doing any births independent of other midwives? Did you ever find an apprenticeship? I am a mama looking to VBAC at home, but the midwives cost so much (we moved from Michigan) here we cannot afford it but know it is the best option for our family. I am wondering if you or anyone you know is looking for more experience at a reduced rate and available for our birth in Feb in southern CT. Hope to get some feedback from you!
