I submitted by request for scholarship support to become a pp doula. I'm so excited! I hope I get it, I hope I get it!
I feel like my letter was really professional, well-written, and definitely justifies helping me on my way to support postpartum mothers and families.
BUT, I forgot to sign it! ACK! I sent dh out the door with the letter in the stamped envelope, it had been a hurried day, and then later I realized I forgot to sign it It has all my contact info and everything else that they asked for, so they can contact me still . . . grrr I am so kicking myself for this!
Should I re-send a duplicate copy with the signature? Do you think they will dismiss an otherwise very strong application because of this? Am I stressing over a non-issue?
Anyone here on the scholarship board ;) heheh forgive me!
I sent a scholarship off to them too and forgot to sign it. Hahaha. I applied for the childbirth educator scholarship. I don't think they'll hold it against us. My letters were well written and professional, I think. I don't see why something like lack of signature would prevent us from getting the scholarship if they judge us fit for it. :)
scarlett, I guess we will know if we both miss out on it! Thanks for replying; I'm glad to know I'm not the only one to goof up something that I really do care about. Best of luck to you! I hope that we both get awarded--we'll find out Feb 1!
