hi everyone,


i'm wondering if any of you have taken any of these certifications/trainings with BAI (birth arts international)?:


-breastfeeding educator certification


-nutrition for doulas


-anatomy for doulas


-reflexology for doulas


if so, i'd love to hear more about your experience!

I haven't, but I've heard good things about Birth Arts. Even as a midwife, I would love to do one of their courses for fun.

Midwife (CPM, LDM) and homeschooling mama to:

I was just saying on another board, I'm going for Momdoulary Method doula and parent coach certification, because they include the 6 certifications in one, and give you the Mentor, all the business tools, and such a serious sense of support.   Everyone I meet from there has a strong sense of connectedness.  Plus in the 20 weeks of class they dive really heavily into everything from nutrition to loss to creating community building.   It feels so comprehensive.  I know other people complain that the training is long, but me, I like that idea.   I also like that I can build strong relationships through it.   But everyone has different reasons for diffferent choices.
