It's been a long time since I've been to mothering.com but I knew that this would be an awesome resource so here I am.
I am taking the CBI CBE course and need to do a short presentation on diabetic women and their specific nutritional issues. I thought I would do my presentation in 3 parts to cover the 3 types (Type 1, Type 2 and Gestational) and i was wondering if anyone could point me in a good direction to find nutritional info. I have been finding a lot about controlling blood sugar with diet but nothing really specific. I do know that each woman should tailor their diet to their own needs but is there a "generic" base line diet that I could use as a guide for this presentation??
Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated,
