If I learned anything from last time around it's that we'll be spending a lot of time with one another over the next several months, which will eventually feel like an eternity!
Just found out today that I'm pregnant. It's early days yet, but this will be my second. I have a two and half year old son, who's the light of my life.
I feel strangely flat about the whole thing. Cautious. Optimistic. Had an emotional episode over the thought that it won't just be the three of us. Silly, I know, but we're such a unit mom, pop and son.
My son definitely knows something´s going on. I've been talking to him for a couple months now about what it would be like with a baby in the house. And today, when we talked about it again, he was extra quiet and cuddly. Very sweet.
So...wow! Jitters for sure.
