This is a new one for me. When I was pregnant with my daughter, I only avoided sleeping on my back because everyone told me not to do it. This time, I'm paying way more attention to my body and not to what everyone else says. Well, in the last couple days, I'm getting nauseated when I lie on my back for more than a few minutes. Can't lay on my tummy except on a very soft bed. So it's side-lying for me, from here on out I suppose. Does anyone else experience this?

I can't lay on my back either, and it is usually my "go to" sleeping position with a leg kicked out from underneath the covers (its complete bliss usually!)....I too have heard that sleeping on your back is back because the "uterus places undue pressure on the aorta". Anyways, it's just not comfortable anymore because I do get more nauseated in that position and I am constantly tossing and turning from side to side because my arms are always falling asleep! I think I'm going to buy one of those body pillows, cuz I love my sleep too much to lose any more of it.

Strange that this time around I am nauseated when I lay any way but on my back. I usually hate sleeping on my back but right now it's the only way that feels okay. I'm dreading the point where I simply won't be able to because of the pressure. Sigh.
