Okay..... So I finally had my first poo since baby. OMG.... does anyone have any tricks to get through this. I thought I was going to give birth to another baby. Poor DD came running upstairs wondering if I was dying.

Anyone have any good sitz bath recipes they are willing to share? I'm just using epsom salt right now.

I drink cal/mag.

magnesium works well for creating soft and easy poo! both are good for afterpains, mag also is good for calming and sleeping;)

I've been taking baths with tons of epsom salts (lots of afterpains and back soreness). I put calendula and lavender and coconut oil in it b/c that's what I have on hand. I haven't even pulled out my sitz bath-havent needed it this time!

My doctor gave me a stool softener and it gave me the WORST gas. Plus, in the first week postpartum I was unable to hold my farts in so it resulted in me passing gas in some pretty embarrassing situations. Ha! Thankfully I can hold them in now (though I rarely do).
