It has been really hot and humid lately and I'm already having some painful swelling in my legs and ankles. Any suggestions other than drinking lots of water and putting my feet up?
I've had the same problem. Have you tried putting your feet in a basin of cold water? It's sooo nice. Also, changing positions a lot seems to help.
I work on the computer a lot and found that I can't sit long at my desk, so I now sit on my bed, back against the wall and have a pillow under my knees, rather than the feet. That's helped a lot, too.
