For those of you that might dress up, what do you think you'll do for a Halloween costume?

I was going to do a medieval style dress, but not sure how to alter for a growing tummy.  Right now, I'm trying to decide what to make my daughter!

We were going to do Alice in Wonderland... DD1 as Alice, DD2 as the queen of hearts, DH as the mad hatter and I was going to make a t shirt with a cheshire cat over my belly since I don't really dress up.  BUT I couldn't convince DD1 of it, and I'm not sure I'll get to the sewing since I have to make the girls flower girl dresses this month.  It was a good thought.  :)

I can't decide what I want to do. Last year I just bought a neat cat mask and wore black clothes to match. Only problem was that I can't wear my glasses. wink1.gif DD wants to visit the Halloween store by our house, so I'll have to look for ideas.

Dang it! Mamabargains had the CUTEST iron-on transfer today, and the last one got swiped while I was checking out! I'm going to check around to see if I can find something similar elsewhere.

I found the site that sells them (Inspire Your Walls), but the transfer is $29.99 there! I bet there is something on Ebay, or I could draw it and have it printed at Zazzle if I can't find anything.

Those are cute! I'd much rather get a shirt for $30 than just the iron on.

Cameragirl I snagged that decal for $9 on mamabargains today!  SO excited to wear it :)

That's a great tutorial. I think I might add a little pink hair bow or blue bow tie once we find out. I just need to find a plain black maternity shirt to use.

I dont know if I have the energy to make that, I think the plain black shirt would cost about the same as the one with the baby on it already, I might buy one though. I have to make 2 costumes already for the girls

I just need a shirt for my skeleton & baby transfer. I might find a shirt at Goodwill for DH and do the freezer paper stencil for him. Or make him do it. wink1.gif DD wanted us to match her, but she can't decide on what she wants to dress up as. It changes on the hour.

So many awesome ideas. I wanted the family to be a s'more. Dh and I the graham crackers and the kids the chocolate and marshmallow. But the kids wanted to be pirate's so I thought the bump could be the marshmallow and Dh could have chocolate on his graham cracker. But Dh won't do it. :( blahblah.gif. So now I have no clue. I may go with a sarcastic t-shirt

For what it is worth, last year I just dressed in black and got a really pretty cat mask made with feathers and sequins to wear. It was impossible to wear my glasses, but at least I looked cute. wink1.gif
