I noticed something very strange just recently and wondered if anyone else had this happen to them.

We had a very stressful couple of days and I noticed that my bump went in a bit during that time.  I suspect it's because my stomach muscles tend to tighten when I'm stressed.  I can't imagine that the baby would burrow in deeper because it's only got limited space to go anyway :-)

No, but, I did notice that honestly my bump is half the size depending upon the food contents in my gastrointestinal tract. I can go from barely showing to about 5-6 months size. It's strange. Perhaps you're not eating as much when you are stressed?

Mine does the same with stress... I have to take a deep breath and relax. I need to remind myself to do that a lot during the day - driving, etc.  Calmness is not my norm.  ;)
