I would love to find someone to henna my tummy way down the road... has anyone done this with previous pregnancies?  Do folks do it in any sort of communal celebration setting?  How do I find someone?

I henna'd my hair for the first time this summer, and love it.  :)  In fact, I think being a redhead may have had some sort of correlation with the BFP...

I've done it at two blessingways. I'm not great by any stretch of the imagination, but I'm comfortable enough with it that I wind up taking the lead on the belly henna-ing. Try asking a friend or two?

I plan on henna-ing myself at 38 weeks because I'm like that.

You could get henna and stencil kits, and get friends to do it for you.  There are a few books out there on Blessingways that might be of help if you are looking for that kind of celebratory space.

DH and I are looking forward to henna'ing my belly together...and painting and photographing luxlove.gif  We're both artists, as we all are ;)

Ah, yes...I love having a henna head too.  Something about having fiery hair just makes you feel more fiery, haha.

I had my belly hennaed during my last 2 pregnancies, I loved it!  Made for some great pictures too.  My friend who does it has moved away so I doubt I'll get it done this time, but it's wonderful.  My midwife always liked to see what new design I would have on my belly at the next appointment.  smile.gif
