Thanks all, I think that picture is hilarious too. Would you believe me that I don't feel out of balance upside down (yet)?

Wow, that IS impressive.  Of course I can't do that un-pregnant.  But I'm still impressed!

ok im jealous of all the great bumps... i work in an office with a shared waiting room, and the two professionals across the hall from me didn't even know i was preggo until they overheard me talking to a friend about it... i still don't have a bump... i look rounder in the middle, but more in a hmmmm, is she gaining weight??? way...rather than a pregnant way...

beautiful bumps ladies!!!! enjoy them!!!

@ chiromama, I hear ya! *Technically* I have a bump, but I only look pregnant if I wear a high waisted skirt... anything else and I just look like I've got a beer gut or something like that!  If only people knew that in fact it's been awhile since i've been able to have a nice cold one... ;)

chiro and tarabell, you gotta master the bump hold. One hand right up under the boobs, other hand right above your pubic bone. With the bumps framed this way, they look a LOT more baby-like than fat-like! At least for me and my wise friends who explained this to me. :)

My guts feel like it should be visible, but not much to see yet. My jeans are starting to get snug enough to be annoying.

Me at 20+2 with my DD in 2008, for comparison:

Me at 19+6 with this little one:

Funny thing is, my weight is almost exactly the same, but my bump feels a lot smaller this time.  Do ya'll agree the bump is smaller now?

I think you look a bit smaller! That's surprising, it seems most mommas are larger...I know I certainly am. It'll be interesting to see the growth curve from here on out...maybe it's just waiting to try and sneak up on you LOL.

Wow, okay, I didn't realize I was this big before taking the picture...but my family confirms it's actually how I look. No WONDER people are making comments!!! So here I am, slightly embarrassed, at 20+5 (two weeks and a pound LESS since last photo).

Thanks Rosie, I think the only reason I don't have rolls is because there seems to be barely enough room for uterus and intestines in there now (cause I surely had my little rolls before the pregnancy)...not sure where things are going from here. Especially being your first, it's going to happen in leaps and bounds from here!

Zuzu--you look like you have a petite frame/short torso, so there's probably no where for your uterus to go BUT out!  I wish I had such a lovely baby bump!!

I don't know...I'm 5'4", and I guess I'm very short waisted (the area between my waist and chest is nearly non-existent), so you're probably right. I definitely wasn't this "round" this early with my other 4, but I guess once you hit number 5 it's all over LOL

I went for breakfast on Saturday Morning and my stomach was practically flat.  It did have a little roundness to it, but I could have easily passed for just bloated.  I even ran in to a friend who was shocked that she "couldn't even tell." Cue Sunday afternoon when I get home from my morning class and look in the mirror...

5ec635ae_IMG_5775.jpeg

IT GREW! I'm expecting that it will still fluctuate because that seems to be the way it's been going so far (is that normal?) but after this, i don't think there is any going back to passing for not showing.

tarabelle, I think you popped.  I popped while I was on vacation last week.  The first day I am in my swimsuit and just look a little chubby.  Next day, definitely pregnant.

I had a pop too! Dog tired and famished for two days, then sick for two days, then whammo, there's a bump! Must have been a growth spurt. :)

20wk6day.jpg

Back at 20wk+6 days. Trying to squish down my fat roll to make the bump more apparent.  I think I've popped out a bit since this (about 12 days ago) so will be eager to re-photo this week and compare.  She's hiding in there somewhere!

(edited cause I don't know why the pic won't show up when I hit submit...hmmm...ok let me try this, hope it's not too big)

Cute cute cute bumps!

I went to a maternity store with my mom and was pushed into a dressing room for two hours. It was fun trying clothes on, but the craziest was the fake bump. It was almost shocking to seem myself as a pregnant woman. Unreal.

Love the bumps!

Rasa, (almost) everyone has some chub, and it has to go somewhere!  Mine seems to go up nearly to my ribcage and also out on the sides.

Rosie, hope you got some good stuff!
