!!! I hadn't even thought of that nickname for Eleanor. Ok, Eleanor is back on my list. DH will never approve but it's on my list.
And if you love it, I too say go for it. Coming up with a name that makes you go "that's the one!!!" seems to be very difficult, so if it feels right, it must be good.
My DH is determined to have this child named after a sci-fi character. Yes, he wants Anakin Skywalker Lastname, for example. I'm all for stepping outside the norm but that's just too far for me. Anakin on its own is ... far enough off the beaten path for me.
(DSD 10yo) (29wks - 2/2012) (1/2013)
that's funny autumngray last night Hubs was suggesting Leia or Amidala and not that we are having a boy, but he was trying to sell me on Obi won Kenobi (spike has a marathon that we have been watching on and off for days, good thing too our dvd player and vcr both broke on the same day!)
Courtney and Cree, baby made 3, added one more then there were 4, sakes alive, then we had 5, another in the mix now we have 6!
A Momma in love with her Little Women-Jewel Face, Jo Jo Bean, June Bug, and Sweet Coraline.
I felt the first series of serious kicks yesterday that I could feel externally as well. Unfortunately hubby had already left for a business trip. He will only be in town for a couple days through mid December so I don't know when he will finally get to fill the little guy.
My family = Me + DH plus new babe 5/12 make 3
Autumngrey: We're sci-fi geeks and trying to avoid the sci-fi names! But there are some good ones that have some cult following.
Sam-Discworld, Lord of the Rings
Peregin-Lord of the Rings
These are just from the series that I particularly like.
