Please contact Tracymom1 if you have something for this family?

What is your family situation?

I am a young single mom trying to finish college. I work as a nanny and I have been trying to teach birth classes and find another nanny job, but have had more trouble than ever before finding work and for the first time ever didn’t have enough money for rent this month. My daughter’s father has been unemployed and trying unsuccessfully to find work for over a year and a half now, and his unemployment is about to run out so I can’t anticipate continuing to get child support from him(he has never willingly given money).

Any allergies or sensitivities in the family? (e.g. cat, dog, smoke) Smoke

Which holiday(s) does your family celebrate? Christmas

Please list up to 2 items per person in your family and up to 2 items for your family as a whole below. (If you are requesting gift cards, please specify local or online stores that, if money is available, gift cards can be provided that you can conveniently use.) Of the items requested below, please prioritize the top 3 overall needs of your family (this can not include direct financial help such as bills paid):

*#1 need is school clothes for my daughter. Their dress code requires red, khaki, black, or white clothes—no jeans allowed and no large pictures or logos. She has just a few clothes in these colors that she wears every day and I would desperately like for her to not have to wear the same thing almost every day. Pants, skirts, jumpers, and short sleeve shirts are needed. Tights are allowed also. She is 6 but big for her age, so usually size 6-8.

* Gift card for necessities like shampoo/toilet paper/etc. Usually get them from a local dollar store place but I don’t think it’s a national chain so perhaps for Vons/Ralphs or CVS/Walgreens.

* We get food stamps but they sometimes run out before the end of the month so a gift card to Trader Joe’s would be wonderful for those instances.

Children: Child #1:

Age and gender: 6 years old, female

Items requested:

2. Christmas presents for her—things like books or toys(she loves dolls) or a gift card to Ross/Marshalls/TJ Maxx/Target or other store with cheap toys. Or Amazon or other online store.

Adult #1 (YOU! ):

Gender: female

Items requested:

1. Warm coats or warm jackets. I am looking for a job so needing one suitable for wearing to an interview. I hate to sound so picky but hoping for one somewhat fashionable as the few I have are not really suitable to wear to an interview. Black would be best. Or gift card to a store that carries them, such as Ross/Marshalls/TJ Maxx.

$50 Ross gift card through Hylands program.

2. Shoes/boots. Again fashionable enough for an interview and black would be preferred. Size 9. Or gift card for Ross/Target/etc. that carries them.

$250 gift card to Land's End to cover all clothing costs

Needs for Your Family As A Whole: Items requested:

1. Gift card for necessities like shampoo/toilet paper/etc. Usually get them from a local dollar store place but I don’t think it’s a national chain so perhaps a gift card for Target/CVS/Walgreens/Vons.

2. We get food stamps but they sometimes run out before the end of the month so a gift card to Trader Joe’s would be wonderful for those instances.
