I'm hoping you can help me figure out how best to support my best friend. Her beautiful daughter arrived yesterday morning after an unwanted but necessary c-section. My friend is struggling, I can tell. She is heartbroken at the loss of her birth plan and in a lot of pain. Holding the baby is tough because it hurts and she hasn't gotten established with breastfeeding yet because the kiddo is so sleepy.
Any tips for ways to be supportive? I'm already planning a grocery run and some freezer meals. I'm a mom of three but mine all came vaginally so I feel ill-equipped to fully help her.
