Hello, Ive just moved to Cambridge from NB and am actually staying in one of the family units at a local shelter due to some unfortunate events. Anyways my bf and I wanted to know if anyone knew of things to do during the day to keep the lil one and us away from people and things that can be a bad influence?
Thanks for reading
Another good place is the local library. They have toys and puzzles in the kids' section and can be a great place to spend a few hours without necessarily checking anything out.
Also look into nearby schools. The one just two blocks from me has a literacy centre for young kids where they can participate in storytime or sing a longs or simply play with toys or paint a picture.
I hope this gives you a place to start. Welcome and good luck. I hope the unfortunate circumstances clear up soon and you get to find Cambridge a comfortable and safe place to raise your family. How old is your little one?
