Ear Piercing

When I was 14, my mom tried to use force to have my ears pierced.
So I overpowered her and beat her up right inside the place.
Blackened her eyes.

Never did get my ears pierced.

What do you think of what I did ?

Holy crap Sandy that's super intense.

As someone who likes to think I would never advocate physical violence what you describe sounds very uncool. But it's cool that you didn't get your ears pierced given how uncomfortable it made you. Do you have any other piercings?

Why are you asking this question? Was this a v long time ago?

13 years ago, no piercings at all.
And no further contact with my mom at all since I was 18

I think I would have put up a fight too if anyone tried to poke holes in my body against my will. What the hell was she thinking?!?

Good for you standing up for yourself. But it sounds like you and your mom have other issues. Sometimes it really is healthiest to cut off family members who are toxic to us. Good for you having the strength to make such a tough decision. I hope you have support and can find the healing you need. Best of luck.

Re: Ear Piercing

I think this is something very disgraceful and You have to be respectful towards the parents for sure.

I can't see how many posts someone has when I'm mobile, but I really hope that is a "troll" post. No one should be forced to have body modification. Respect should go both ways.

I agree witz neonalee,
everyone can discuss about sth, but don't forget the respect to each other.
