I am new to this forum and wanted to ask if anyone has recommendations for ways to feed the kids at my daycare (I run a home day care with seven toddlers) probiotic foods. I have tried mixing a little yogurt into their milk but they seem to notice and quite a few don't finish their milk when I try to sneak it in that way.
Looking for creative ways to get these kids to eat healthy! :nerd:
My son eats plain greek yogurt by itself. You could also add some fresh or frozen fruit to it. The greek yogurt is easier for toddlers to eat because it's thick and sticks to a spoon better than regular yogurt. My nanny also makes smoothies with yogurt and fruit.
Smoothies are a popular snack in our house! To get the probiotics, I was told to get the kind with 'live and active cultures' and that's what I do. We mix it with different fruits and I even put frozen chopped kale in there, and they love it!
