Coin pearls are my favorite...it's like the oyster was thinking he would make something just a little different. Eliza Pearl is a great name, IMO! It's even better that it's so special to your hubs.
Our dog has a gem name. And I *love* Opal for a name but I doubt we'd ever use it...

I like the SSA lists because it's fun to watch naming trends. I didn't use them with Ciara or else I would have considered how popular Sierra and Cierra were...we know two with those spellings and the dreaded "Ciara with a C" comes out. Oh well, she likes her name and it's hers to keep, so as long as it's fine for her, it's fine for me.
DH agreed to think of some *real suggestions* last night! Will probably still be awhile but forward movement is good!!!
I think our baby is Hannah. Its the only name we both love and we have been using it for a while and it seems to be sticking. Other names we liked were Olivia, Audrey, Allison (which is my middle name and my dad's middle name too :-). Not settled on a middle name yet, but I like Kathrine and Soleil. Maybe both! I loved the name Beatrice, but got vetoed by my husband...I guess he gets a say, LOL.

We are having a hard time with names for our girl. DH doesn't want to talk about it for some reason. DD is happy to talk but she wants Penelope or Astroid. She overheard me saying Astrid...
I love baby names too, but it's funny that with each pregnancy, I don't want to re-use names that I had wanted for previous babies.
My first daughter is named Emerson Barbara
and my second son is named Camden Erik
this will be my third and we won't know the sex until we meet him or her so my current choices are:
Truman Joseph for a boy and P.reston Dorothy for a girl
I'm pretty set on those two, but who knows what will happen.
