Who is still pregnant round here?

I'll be 40 weeks in 2 days...my son was born at 39 weeks so this is officially the most pregnant I've ever been.

I'm 40 weeks today and feel like I'm gonna be pregnant forever. I know that's silly but I've had 2 false alarms and my mucus plug fell out a week ago. So I thought for sure she was on her way. Trying to remind myself that it could still be today, any moment. I've been walking a mile a day, having as much sex as my husband can, eating spicy food and drinking RRL tea. Every night I go to sleep I hope I wake up in labor, not today.....

Still here... my edd is the 29th, based on ultrasound and corresponds exactly to when I thought I was ovulating. My lmp-based date was yesterday. I really have no idea when to expect this little one since I have long cycles and going by lmp has always given me "late" babies, but my only other boy was my earliest, so...

I finally decided to wash the baby's diapers and clothes last weekend and am trying to get my birth bag put together. I am kinda dragging my feet on it though. I keep thinking I should do it just in case and then not wanting to because it is probably going to be awhile anyway.

I am still here! 8 days until my due date. I think baby finally dropped this week, but I am not holding my breath that he will arrive early. In fact, I have been hoping that he would hold out until at least today as we just met with the pediatrician this morning. I haven't completely finished packing my hospital bag either. I have kind of psyched myself up for going over.

Probably just some prodromal practice labor but I've been having contractions about 15 minutes apart for the last few hours. I did this off and on for several days with another baby so not getting my hopes up but decided to pack the baby's bag just in case.

Today 8/14 is my due date, still pregnant. I've had a few signs that make me think labor will be soon, but this is my first baby so who knows? But baby clothes and bedding are washed, bags are packed, and I'm officially getting antsy!

I'm 8 days past my due date, and still no signs of anything. This is normal for me, though--I only bought diapers and birth supplies yesterday! I think I've still got another week to go. Baby is fully posterior, and the back pain is unreal right now.

I'm still waiting too! My official due date by LMP is Sunday the 17th. I've got no idea if I ovulated differently so that's what I've got to go from. First was 4 days late, 2nd was who knows (no LMP and wasn't trying either!) so with this one, no clue. have had 2-3 weeks of braxton hicks including some we thought worth timing last weekend but to no avail. My OB stretched my cervix at the last two appointments. We were hoping to encourage labor before her scheduled time off for her own surgery and while it did seem to help soften the cervix a little and cause me to lose my mucous plug I guess he really will get here on his own darn schedule!

As long as it's not the evening of the 17th I'll be happy. I don't get to have my Doula then as my she has tickets to a really awesome play that evening. Not making her miss that!

We did finally finish painting our new bedroom and moved most of our things into the new room. All the heavy stuff anyhow. Our new room had collected some amount of stuff for storage while we were not living in it so now we get to re-shuffle the rest. But that's fine. It's got a built-in closet albeit short. It's got plenty of room for gun stuff as well as hanging up shirts and short dresses, etc. I'll have to fenagle the long dress that made it up to our room back into my storage closet in the basement that got buried behind the in-laws office in progress. oh well.

We did finally get to get baby things out and start putting them away! My folks got us a changing table that Hubby set up last night and I put washed baby clothes away in the new dresser! I feel a lot better now! As we get things sorted out and shuffled around we'll have room to set up the crib pretty soon although we're going to be getting a co-sleeper shortly for this one as well. At least until he's big enough to hold his own in the big bed. We co-slept with our first two but hubby was a much lighter sleeper then as was I and we have more white noise with heaters or fans in our new (very old) house. We're thinking it's safer with a co-sleeper this time around and we'll set up the crib that my dad painted up so beautifully for us for naptime at least since I have to go back to work soon and it'll be full time.

Anyhow, I'm still here but I'm feeling more ready if even a little antsy or resigned to being pregnant forever, depending on the moment in the day anyhow...

At least I'm not the only one...haha. Yeah 40 weeks today OFFICIALLY. Woot. I go in and out of being completely calm, relaxed and trusting that baby will come when ready, vs feeling completely insane and just wanting it OUT NOW.

Let's just say I am NOT a people person lately...I am starting to get calls around the clock asking about the baby. Not answering them...

I'm still here too. 39 weeks is either today (by lmp) or the 18th (if I ovulated when thought). I'm hoping this little one waits until next weekend though. Now would cause crazy stress with my husband's work schedule and house projects that the landlord has going on. Though I am ready to walk without waddling!

I will be 38 weeks tomorrow. I'm completely okay with still being pregnant. My goal was to make it to 38 weeks. I'm a few hours shy of that goal and now I'm hoping to make it to 39 weeks.

I am 40 weeks tomorrow. Had two scares. So far just been sitting at 3cm last time I was checked (last week, mid week). I have been walking, cleaning, having sex and drinking RRL. I actually recently stopped hiking due to heat but am still getting in over a mile a day, sometimes 2 or 3. I HOPE I am at 4cm. But I am afraid to go back to the hospital until my contractions are worse or my water breaks. I have been having contractions for over a week now. -_-

Congrats, Othersoul! Hope you and your baby girl are doing well!

I thought it might happen yesterday at 39+2. I lost my mucus plug and had some stronger contractions in the morning, but they ended up being BH. Once I was going about my day, they tapered off.

At my 39 week appointment, my doctor brought up induction due to the projected size of my baby (he was measuring a little over 5 lbs at a 32 week ultrasound), but was completely okay with my refusal. I really feel like I will go over my due date and I am okay with that. He can take his time.

Congrats Other Soul. Today is my due date and I am going in to the hospital later on. Trying to stay home a while. Horrible back pain and contractions are worse. I historically have them on my due date so I am sure this is it. It's also the same day, 16 years ago, I went into labor with my first son. He was due the 18th also and was born on the 19th. I hope she is born today though. It's my birthday

Still here too, at 40w 1d. I lost my mucus plug a week and a half ago, had a false alarm Monday evening and spent almost all night in the birth center, until I stalled out at 4cm - they had to give me Benadryl for a bad reaction to the IV antibiotics (GBS), and it knocked me out, along with the contractions. Had to go home empty-handed, very disappointing.

Baby is SO low, she feels like she'll drop out if I pee too hard...and seriously uncomfortable BH off & on all day, every day since the false alarm. I've been trying all kinds of stuff: hiking, sex, RRL tea, spicy food, you name it! Just had an acupuncture treatment today so we'll see if that gets things moving!

Good luck to all the mamas here - and congrats to OtherSoul!!

Last night I had enough contractions I was about to think it was the real thing, but there was no pattern whatsoever to them. Oh well, they must have moved little one somewhat because she(?) hasn't pinched a nerve to put my leg to sleep all day today!

Congrats to everyone who has given birth now! We are still hanging out here waiting on baby boy's timing. I am having more bh during the day but nothing to get excited about. He is still moving around a ton, though last week the ob said he was engaged and I was at 2cm so a bit of work is out of the way. I am getting a little anxious seeing everyone's pictures.

Me too! I am happy for everyone, but I want my little guy to get here soon! I keep telling myself that I want him to take the time he needs. It is getting hard though. Doesn't help that everyone I come into contact with looks so disappointed that I am still pregnant

I'm about 40 1/2 weeks now (I know, not bad, shouldn't complain ), but thinking this might finally be it. Contractions for the last few evenings that stop when I fall asleep, but today little one has dropped even lower, I lost the mucus plug, and the contractions seem to be getting stronger.

So glad I kept telling myself that no one is pregnant forever, it kept me (somewhat) sane last week. We had a beautiful little girl, 9 lbs, at home Sunday. That made us either 40w6d or 41 weeks.

So.. if anyone is left- hang in there!
