Belly Pictures!

I know it is super early, but this is my favorite part of the DDCs! And even at 4 weeks I've got a bit to show wink1.gif And maybe we can help each other remember to do weekly pics! Those who want to.

This is pretty normal for me, maybe slightly more rounded than pre pregnancy.

I have to laugh - you'd never know baby is the size of a poppyseed! DH says maybe a poppyseed muffin wink1.gif

Belly Pictures!

I just am beginning to see things pop out at just shy of 8 weeks.  I think what it is is that the growing uterus is pushing up my belly fat (Iam only 132 lbs, so not super chunky) because I haven't gained any weight yet, but my belly is noticibly larger...but it is not a super hard lump, hence the belly fat re-dispersal theory.  Or maybe I am just bloated.  People say you show quicker with subsequent pregnancies, but I didn't think I'd pop this soon.  At this rate, I won't be hiding it until christmas!  I will work on pictures soon.

I've still got leftover fluff from DS2, but I'm wondering how much longer I'll be able to hide it (we weren't going to tell anyone until after the first of the year). I'll have to look at my pics from DS2 to see how early I popped. My thighs and bum have already grown... my jeans are tighter all over. I think my belly is mainly bloat right now, though we'll see if it goes down any!

I'm excited about seeing all the bellies, too! DH thinks I'm weird, but it's fun to see how everyone changes/carrier differently!

Mine is definitely bloat! I didn't show until after 15 weeks with DS, and probably even longer with DD. of course I was 19 when she was born and then it was 4 years before I got pregnant again, and I did Pilates for about a year. But with this one only two years between and I was huuuuuuuge with DS! He was over 10lbs and I had excess amniotic fluid during the middle part of my pregnancy. So I'm sure my stomach muscles aren't what they used to be. I don't really want anyone to know until after the new year as well, so hoping I can suck it in for a while. I told DH I'm going to buy a puffy vest and start wearing it all the time wink1.gif

Hotmom, with a name like that I'm sure you look great! I really believe all our bodies are amazing. Making tiny little people is the coolest thing ever. Hope you share soon!

Turtlemama and bentlaj, looking forward to seeing your pictures! We can all take pics of our bloat to occupy us until we have real baby bumps.

This is 4 weeks. I feel bloated all the time. I can't wait until I'm showing from the baby instead of excess gas! wink1.gif

Mareseatoats- You look like the type that ends up with a perfect baby bump!

Mares you have a gorgeous figure!! That is really cute. I will try to take a pic...I definitely have some serious belly bloat! I can't hold it in. I am about 10 pounds more than pre-pregnancy 3 years ago with DS....so I have some fluff as well.

also one of my favorite parts of the ddc.  however, i usually don't start snapping photos until 12 weeks and then every four weeks after that.  just our little tradition.

was just earlier looking at the belly thread from my previous ddc.  :throb

Freepy, you are so flipping cute! I keep trying to think of a way to compliment your body without sounding creepy... haha. Well, whatever. You look amazing.

Wengrin - Thanks, mama! And yes, post a picture! I already know your face is radiating happy glowy pregnancy smile.gif

Samstress - it's fun to have traditions! I recreated 35 week pictures of my daughter at 35 weeks with my son. I hope to do so again smile.gif I can't wait until 12 weeks and the anxiety to ease up a bit.

My pants are starting to get tight....I don't remember this happening so early last time, but I am also a few pounds heavier than I was with DD. But all my maternity pants are in the attic and opening the attic is a HUGE project (I have to take everything out of my closet) I am  trying to wait til after Xmas!

mine too.  i feel that it starts earlier and earlier with each pregnancy.  i'm already doing that elastic band around the button and through the button hole.

because we thought we were done, i gave away all our baby stuff (ALL OF IT).  including my maternity clothes.  time to get creative.

Meee tooo.  I was about 7 lbs over my normal weight when I conceived this wee one, and I already don't fit comfortably in my jeans.  :/  I'm not one to worry about my weight or my figure.. it always seems to bounce back to healthy after baby is born - but I'm seriously not ready to tell everyone I know.

For everyone needing clothes - our Goodwills and other thrift stores here have super nice maternity clothes a lot of the time, especially jeans.

Mares- I LOVE Goodwill! I seriously have a problem...if I have 45 min to myself that's the first place I want to go! I have found the nicest clothes for me and the kids!! Hubby is more difficult. He is metro...he won't wear certain things. For me I find so much good stuff there. I get compliments and people ask- where is that from? I always claim mommy-brain and can't remember....lol.

My daughter loves Justice clothes and they are expensive!! So I find Justice jeans for $3.00 there for her. Love me some thrift shops!

My first belly pic @ 7wks! Super blurry and you will have to excuse the mess... Feeling to pukey to do much cleaning... Pretty sure my tummy is getting rounder sooner with this one.

Wow, all of you have such nice figures!  I'm almost as heavy as when I was in labor with my first son.  Lots of extra padding to start with, and I have already gained.  Still, I think I will start with pictures tomorrow, at 7 weeks.

I love the pictures so far! At the end of this journey it will be so much fun looking back at these early pictures!

5 Weeks smile.gif
I can suck it in still, but it's uncomfortable! But I would love to keep it under wraps until the new year... I don't know if that's going to happen.

Yeah Mares, I see the progress in a week.  You wont be hiding it for long, unless you start wearing baggy clothes.

This is me at 6 weeks. I had a little chub to lose in the belly area before getting pregnant, and I am so bloated! Those are Old Navy maternity leggings that I'm wearing, and I love them.

Also, I'm not really that orangey-red in real life. The lighting in my upstairs hallway just sucks!

Well, I definitely look a few months pregnant! But I won't be taking much less posting any pics until its definitely the baby in my belly causing me to look pregnant, rather than my children who are already here ;) My poor stomach muscles, they have seen much better days!

Such cute pics! Heatherneeny- leggings are my BFF right now!

LilStar- I used to have a really flat stomach...I am tall and have a long torso so when I was younger, and even after 1st baby I still had the tight abs. But after the 2nd baby at 36, my body gave in. My ab muscles are so stretched out and I have a big split down the middle plus a hernia at my belly button. Basically my middle is blown out and I don't know if it will go back without surgery. My doctor actually said my Diastasis Recti is bad enough that my insurance may pay to have the muscles stitched back together. But obviously I want to wait until I am done having kids.

My family is in town for the Thanksgiving holiday and I am not telling anyone until 12-13 weeks. It has been interesting....my tummy is protruding and I have been running to the bathroom to get sick. I told them I have a migraine....I actually have had one lingering so it is not really lying. :-)

You guys are so tiny:). I am 5 weeks and two days today, and I have a belly. I started out at 115 Ibs. Now, I'm 119. I don't have much of an appetite, and my breasts feel like punching bags. Anyone else experiencing this?
