This is pretty normal for me, maybe slightly more rounded than pre pregnancy.
I have to laugh - you'd never know baby is the size of a poppyseed! DH says maybe a poppyseed muffin
I just am beginning to see things pop out at just shy of 8 weeks. I think what it is is that the growing uterus is pushing up my belly fat (Iam only 132 lbs, so not super chunky) because I haven't gained any weight yet, but my belly is noticibly larger...but it is not a super hard lump, hence the belly fat re-dispersal theory. Or maybe I am just bloated. People say you show quicker with subsequent pregnancies, but I didn't think I'd pop this soon. At this rate, I won't be hiding it until christmas! I will work on pictures soon.
I've still got leftover fluff from DS2, but I'm wondering how much longer I'll be able to hide it (we weren't going to tell anyone until after the first of the year). I'll have to look at my pics from DS2 to see how early I popped. My thighs and bum have already grown... my jeans are tighter all over. I think my belly is mainly bloat right now, though we'll see if it goes down any!
I'm excited about seeing all the bellies, too! DH thinks I'm weird, but it's fun to see how everyone changes/carrier differently!
Hotmom, with a name like that I'm sure you look great! I really believe all our bodies are amazing. Making tiny little people is the coolest thing ever. Hope you share soon!
Turtlemama and bentlaj, looking forward to seeing your pictures! We can all take pics of our bloat to occupy us until we have real baby bumps.
Mareseatoats- You look like the type that ends up with a perfect baby bump!

also one of my favorite parts of the ddc. however, i usually don't start snapping photos until 12 weeks and then every four weeks after that. just our little tradition.
was just earlier looking at the belly thread from my previous ddc.
Wengrin - Thanks, mama! And yes, post a picture! I already know your face is radiating happy glowy pregnancy
Samstress - it's fun to have traditions! I recreated 35 week pictures of my daughter at 35 weeks with my son. I hope to do so again I can't wait until 12 weeks and the anxiety to ease up a bit.
My pants are starting to get tight....I don't remember this happening so early last time, but I am also a few pounds heavier than I was with DD. But all my maternity pants are in the attic and opening the attic is a HUGE project (I have to take everything out of my closet) I am trying to wait til after Xmas!
mine too. i feel that it starts earlier and earlier with each pregnancy. i'm already doing that elastic band around the button and through the button hole.
because we thought we were done, i gave away all our baby stuff (ALL OF IT). including my maternity clothes. time to get creative.
Meee tooo. I was about 7 lbs over my normal weight when I conceived this wee one, and I already don't fit comfortably in my jeans. :/ I'm not one to worry about my weight or my figure.. it always seems to bounce back to healthy after baby is born - but I'm seriously not ready to tell everyone I know.
My daughter loves Justice clothes and they are expensive!! So I find Justice jeans for $3.00 there for her. Love me some thrift shops!
Wow, all of you have such nice figures! I'm almost as heavy as when I was in labor with my first son. Lots of extra padding to start with, and I have already gained. Still, I think I will start with pictures tomorrow, at 7 weeks.
Well, I definitely look a few months pregnant! But I won't be taking much less posting any pics until its definitely the baby in my belly causing me to look pregnant, rather than my children who are already here ;) My poor stomach muscles, they have seen much better days!
LilStar- I used to have a really flat stomach...I am tall and have a long torso so when I was younger, and even after 1st baby I still had the tight abs. But after the 2nd baby at 36, my body gave in. My ab muscles are so stretched out and I have a big split down the middle plus a hernia at my belly button. Basically my middle is blown out and I don't know if it will go back without surgery. My doctor actually said my Diastasis Recti is bad enough that my insurance may pay to have the muscles stitched back together. But obviously I want to wait until I am done having kids.
My family is in town for the Thanksgiving holiday and I am not telling anyone until 12-13 weeks. It has been interesting....my tummy is protruding and I have been running to the bathroom to get sick. I told them I have a migraine....I actually have had one lingering so it is not really lying. :-)
