Ok ladies!  I have updated our roll call list to here.  Please check your name and see if I need to make any changes.  If so, post and let me know!  :)  As we get closer, I'll break it based on due date and color it pink, blue, or green based on gender.  But for now, I'm just trying to get us all listed!  So let me know if I have any mistakes.

Thanks!

Not a big deal, but my EDD is June 9th.

Thanks for doing the roll call list. :)

Hello all!

Name you want to be called: Kelly
Area of location you live: Providence, Rhode Island
How many children you have already, if any: None
Estimated expectancy date: 6/15/14
Hobbies:  Knitting, swimming, walking, kayaking
Anything else you like to share: I feel like I'm jinxing things by joining this group, but I need someone to discuss things with since I don't want to tell anyone besides DH until after the first trimester.  We've been trying to have a baby for about 2 1/2 years.  Turns out, DH had low testosterone and low sperm count, but I'm in good shape.   He's been on medication for over a year and his count is now up to low normal levels.  I had one miscarriage about a year ago at 5 1/2 weeks, and we tried IUI unsuccessfully in April.  We were going to try IUI this month too, but I never ovulated!  Except, jokes on me, I ovulated a little early and we managed to get pregnant the natural way!

Hello all!  :blowkiss

My name is Mackenzie, I'm expecting my first around June 24th.  I had a m/c at 8 weeks back in July (plus 2 other very early m/c's a few years ago).  My husband and I have been trying to conceive for a little over 3 years now.  I'm reallllllllly hoping that this baby sticks around, but I'm trying not to get too far into planning mode, since I'm barely pregnant.  But, as far as I'm concerned, this baby deserves to be CELEBRATED and loved and talked about, even if he or she leaves us too soon.  So please keep your fingers crossed for me! :1praying

I'm a 1st year Doctoral student in NYC, currently living in Brooklyn with the Hubby, my sister, and our dog, Lulabelle  dog2.gif I've been a nanny for 10 years and birth doula / childbirth educator for 3-4 years now.  I just love working with moms and babies, and so I decided to go back to school to become an expert in the "Transition to Motherhood", specifically during the childbearing year (conception to 12 weeks old).

I enjoy cooking, baking, eating, knitting, reading, cheesy photography, meditation-y yoga, The Office, drinking tea, and hanging out with all my littles that I've helped raise over the past decade.

thanks for the updates earthymama. i think that organizing by due date would be great once the list is longer.

kellyim & hopefullymama, welcome! i too know the emotions of early pregnancy after a loss. i hope that you both have healthy pregnancies and that we all have our babies in our arms come june. I am at 7.5 weeks and trying just to keep breathing and enjoy every day being pregnant.

Name you want to be called: Lauren
Area of location you live: Eastern Washington (State)
How many children you have already, if any: 15 this month
Estimated expectancy date: 6-19
Hobbies: loom knitting
Anything else you like to share: Exited to even be here!  Husband and I have been trying for over three years, been married over one year.  Gave up hope of getting pregnant about two cycles ago.  Took two tests and the nausea, heartburn, fatigue, sore back, mood swings, full and tender breasts, etc all started to make sense... ;)

I was young (20) when I had my (almost) 15 yo.  Now, I'm nearly 36 and starting over and feeling like I am beginning a 2nd Life.  I'm so excited and grateful for baby to come!  I feel blessed!

I do not understand most of the acronyms I've read.  Is there a link to a list for this "secret code"?

My best friend of 21 years is 1.5 months ahead of me in pregnancy.  SO excited about having someone to go through this with!

I feel as though so much has changed in the 15 years since I was last preggers.  Everything from car seat engineering to the way babies are positioned to sleep.  I feel like I have a lot to relearn and I hope this could be the place for just that.

Estimated expectancy date: 6/2/14
Hobbies:  snowboarding, softball, hiking, biking, camping
Anything else you like to share: I'm 30 years old and this will be our first and also is my first pregnancy. We got married 2 years ago and have been together 9! I have been wanting a kid really bad for a couple of years now but I wanted to wait until the wedding was paid off and we were in better financial shape. During that time I have done a TON of research and read a TON of books! I turned Paleo/Primal in 2009 and it has led me into a more natural outlook on life instead of just going by mainstream. I'm looking forward to trying EBF, BW, EC, Cosleeping, and positive parenting! I do not want to raise my kids in authoritarian household like I was... It's been quite the journey for me emotionally.

I plan to have a med-free natural birth at a birthing center with a CNM. It's a bit far for me (an hour 10 min) but I dont want a hospital birth and home births are not covered in this state. First appt. on Wed very excited.

http://www.beverlyhospital.org/locations--services/health-services/maternity,-obstetrics/north-shore-birth-center

I'm a software developer and currently work from home 4 days a week and trek into the office for a long commute one day a week. DH is a mechanic.

We have a small homestead with 2 Nigerian Dwarf goats, 6 chickens, and a veggie garden. We also have 2 Ragdoll cats, and 1 German Sheppard. All of us are living in a pretty small house so we've been working on minimizing as much as possible to make room for the baby.

Hello! My name is Katie and you can call me Katie!

I have no children this would be my husband, Richard, and my first!

We live in Cincinnati, Ohio, we just moved here a few months ago and bought our first house in August and renovated the kitchen ourselves literally after we put the faucet in, we found out we were pregnant, talk about timing!!

We want a home birth and I have joined a home birth group here in Cincinnati, it is harder here in Ohio because CPMs are not regulated! If anyone is from Cincinnati, or knows some midwives I can talk to that would be great!! Also any other information on anyone's home birth including price so I have an idea, that would be amazing!

My hobbies include baking, i really enjoy cooking, and record buying and listening to (if you count that)

Hi! I'm Becky. Wife and mother of 3 kiddos (6, 4, and 23 months)

Tested just this morning. I'm pretty sure I'm 3-4 weeks. My cycle was still all wonky since I'm still nursing at night, so I'm not sure when I ovulated.

Hi,

I'm Anik, I live in Montréal, Québec (CAN).

I have a 3 and a half year old son named Henri.

Due date: June 27

Hobbies: gardening, TV series watching, Pinteresting, Politics, crosswords ... but really I don't have a lot of time for personal hobbies anymore, when I do have time for myself I prefer using it to see my friends.

Anything else you like to share: I speak French everyday, it's also my first language, I'm always happy to learn new vocabulary and to improve my English grammar so feel free to tell me my mistakes.

Also I'm not so crunchy in my everyday life, I know it's not an excuse, but my family lives a crazy life and I try nor to set expectations for myself I can't sustain. Though with pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding and the first year of a child I feel like it's an invaluable investment to push myself toward a more natural lifestyle. I had a midwife with my first son (although I ended up having a C-section), I breastfed exclusively and babywearing was such a pleasure for me.

I'm looking forward to this baby with great expectations, it took us a year to conceive and I'm so happy I'm finally pregnant. I can't wait to know you all.

I'm so sorry, mamabear. It seems like a lot of us know what it's like to lose an expected child and all of us can imagine how devastated you must feel. Hug your kids close. It's the only thing that helped me. Best of luck for all you do in the future.

So I was sitting here, calculating everything and it's putting my due date at June 13th. I thought I was only 3-4 weeks but it's saying I'm 6 weeks 4 days. I had my period September 6th, lasted 7 days and I usually ovulate 5 days later (on a regular 28 day cycle). Does this sound right? Can't count from when we had sex because I don't keep track of the exact days.
