Loving the earring idea! Tspenser, where did you find the metal links? And did you do the wire wrapping? I loooooove your necklace!!!!!

Yes, I did the wire wrapping. It took me a few times till I figured out how to do it correctly. I got mine at a Joann fabrics store but I think they sell them at any craft store. I had to link each circle together with the ones I got. I bought two different sizes to change things up a bit and got thin jewelry wire. I did need small needle nose pliers and wire cutters. I just borrowed my DH's rather than buying the crafting ones. It wasn't too bad other than having carpal tunnel to deal with!

Got the beads today! Lovely beads all. I really thought of putting mine in little packets with notes on them like yours. But day in and day out they kept being carried back and forth to work in my bag.

I would have gotten to it eventually but who knows when :innocent.

So....

"To my fellow birthing mama's whether this is your first baby, or your 6th. Whether you struggled to conceive or it was a breeze. We are here together on this journey and for that I am grateful. It is always welcome to feel connected with others."

I picked these beads because one looks like the earth our mother. The other bead my sweet 6 yo DD picked out for you. I had a lovely stone that was like rose quartz - my favorite and this color was right by the other stone I had. To help her connected to you all and the wonderful journey we are all on... she chose that for you all.

Hugs, Stacy

Hopefully everyone has gotten their beads by now!!! :love I can't wait to start seeing everyone else's finished product! My sisters loved mine so much that I think I am going to buy some different beads and make them each a necklace, somewhat like mine, for Christmas!

Mine are being made into stitch markers so I can use the always. My first project with them will be a little hat for the baby to wear for pictures (and because it is cold outside - we just moved).

I plan on getting the stuff to do this - this weekend weather permitting. I've never made a necklace before, sans silky yarn for a kid and stringing the beads that way. How much time am I looking at? :)

I got mine done in two sittings, one for stringing the beads and the other for adding the links... maybe 3 hours total?  But it was my first time too and I kept dropping things and leaning over with the big belly is a slooooowww process lol.

thanks kt~mommy! I did do the spirals myself :) I ran my the local bead store to grab links (after I had wired each bead with wire from a friend) and they were closed! So I decided to try and make something myself. It worked! And thanks for being impressed ;)

BTW the silver beads represent the "birth spiral" in case someone didn't figure that out.
