baby hiccups! ;)

My baby has had the hiccups at least once a day for the last 3-4 days. I've experienced this with each baby, so it's not a surprise, but always a little odd and kinda cool. Just thought I'd share since a local friend who is due the same week just mentioned that she just felt the first bout of hiccups last night (her first baby). We're both about 33 weeks.

DS1 2/08, DD 1/10, DS2 12/11...#4 due October 2014
Home schooling, home birthing, breastfeeding, bed sharing family!

My baby was having so many hiccups, I started wondering if it was normal! This is my first baby, and the first hiccups were so funny to feel. Mine usually has them right after I eat, and sometimes in between meals. Hiccups were how I knew she was head down before the ultrasound, and how I know that she's still head down.

Dumb question - how do you know they are hiccups? What is the movement like? After reading your post, I'm now wondering if rhythmic movement that happens fairly frequently are hiccups or not.

Mom to DS (16), DD (7), DS (5), and excitedenergy.gif about my final baby due October 2014. Love fluffy mailheartbeat.gif, appreciate midwives, and can't wait to wear a baby againjoy.gif!

That is not a dumb question, I was unsure for weeks as to whether they were really hiccups or just baby having fun punching me or something. I finally realized they had to be hiccups because they were spaced pretty evenly. It was also easier when she moved head down to know that it had to be hiccups. Also helped me to imagine which way shes facing.
