I'm busting out the belly band today, my shorts are super uncomfortable and I refuse to buy maternity shorts at 6 weeks. Hoping I can get by with the band and dresses until it's cool enough to buy jeans!

Finally got a proper "__w,0d" photo in. My last two babies both had Sunday due dates, so taking the photo on a Sunday night felt like no big deal... Now I've technically got a Thursday due date, and I know the precise w,d doesn't matter at all in the long run, but... I like having it on the exact date anyhow, and somehow it feels impossible to get it together to do a belly photo on a weeknight!

Anyway, I did finally manage it yesterday, so here is a very sleepy me last night, at 11 weeks!

Yay, Tee!
I know what you mean about the w/d thing, and how arbitrary it really is. (To be honest, I get a little annoyed when I see people posting their exact w/d thing... I'm working on getting over it!!)... But I still do my weekly photo on the Tuesday that I change... though I can't wait that long to read the updated baby's at stage, so I do that on Monday... cheating... but not. (I also "cheat" by looking at your ticker... you're about "5 days" ahead of me, so your ticker gives me a sneak peek at what's to come inside of there...)

Adorable. I noticed you were showing pretty considerably in your announcement... Now would you say that's end of the day bloat, or babe babe babe?

Thanks for sharing... I think we're really going to start seeing weekly changes for lots of us ladies at this stage in the game...

I do that, too! I can never hold off until the precise day to read the silly BabyCenter blurb about what the baby looks like. I can usually last until Wednesday, but by then I am too curious. Which is especially silly since I pretty much memorized 'em during the last two pregnancies!

Would you believe that it's all-the-time bloat?! I am like this all day, every day. No idea why. Our dating ultrasound was super cut and dry--measuring right on track for our expected conception date, it's definitely a singleton, etc... My best guess is that my body has just decided to throw this child a two-month bloat party. Weird, right?

At any rate, thanks so much for the kind words!

Dude, that doesn't look like bloat at all. It totally looks like a preggo belly because of the way it's popping out from the bottom. When I bloat, it's a Buddha belly that hang over my waist line. At any rate, bloat or belly, you look great!

Bellies! Love em'! I think it's cool to show it off to your ddc from the start
Years later, I was googling through Mothering.com and found my first ddc pics, and got to show them to the kids......so cute! It's nice to see everyone's bellies bloom. Here's my 8 week shot

OK. I'm ready to share a belly shot. I'm so bloated at night so I look like I'm 5 months. He he. And I finally remembered to take a picture this morning. So here I am at almost 11 weeks

OMG, cagnew... I'm 11 1/2 weeks, too... But I look nothing like you! These photos are after me eating 2 english muffins, a slice of quiche, a cup of tea and a cup of OJ. (breakfasts need to be REALLY big for me to get through my mornings before my lunch break these days!)
Officially envious! Such an odd thing to be envious about, but there it is! For some reason, I really want to look pregnant!

happyday8598: Seriously, don't be envious. When you are sporting a cute, gestation-appropriate sized belly, I will most likely have a gigantic, uncomfortable, grotesque belly. I always seem to be HUGE by week 25, and it's all downhill from there. By the end I look ridiculous and have a hard time finding clothing that actually covers my belly. I guess it's because I'm pretty small-framed and I have babies that are NOT small.

I don't know about that. I am having #6 , but since not exactly skinny in the middle it won't look like anything out of the ordinary for me for several more weeks. All my clothes still fit just fine, maybe a little snug in the waist at the end of the day. But, I am also barely 8 weeks, so maybe I will eat my words in a couple weeks!

Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?

I am exactly the same way! I wish they made maternity clothes with an extra large belly, but that fits the same in the shoulders, because I'm short and my babies are always around 9lbs. Actually, your belly shot looks the closest to mine. I will have to post one soon, I've been waiting for the first checkup to make sure there's a heartbeat.

Three kids and one on the way.

But look how adorable you are NOW!!!
In all seriousness, I'm sorry that this is your pregnancy experience. What funny things our bodies do, eh?

This is my 3rd, but it's been 13 years since I've been pregnant, so perhaps my body has readjusted a bit. I thought I'd show much sooner, seeing how I've done this before, and have absolutely been stretched out!

It's funny, my stretch marks have become more pronounced since becoming pregnant, but my body hasn't changed a bit...

I admit, I am enjoying my belly right now As long as no one asks when I am due (and no one has yet), I am happily wearing my maternity dresses. I've never been "nicely" pregnant in warm weather so wearing these lighter dresses is a first!

I remember with baby #1 it took forever to pop! It didn't happen until 18-20.

Oh my god, someone just asked me if I'm having a boy or a girl!! I am EIGHT weeks pregnant...! I'm pretty petite, so it does sort of pop right out there, but I didn't think it was enough to elicit a comment from a stranger.

In the span of three weeks, I have gone from multiple comments along the lines of "There is no way you're only 9 weeks along. Are you sure it's not twins? Or due in December?" to everyone I tell going, "You're already twelve weeks?! But you don't even look pregnant!!" Honey, I have looked pregnant since 4 weeks, and that's a fact. People are so weird.

Enjoying all the belly shots! I'm plus-sized so I won't 'look' pregnant for a while boooo. I can tell I'm starting to 'show" personally though, because I haven't gained any weight yet but my clothes are all starting to get tight.

Cute bellies ladies ♥

I think I may have you all beat on the bump size. I'm 12 weeks tomorrow and I already look like I did in my fifth month of the first pregnancy. But it's just in my stomach, no where else.
