Things that make you feel GOOD right now!?

Yes, my life would be soooooo much easier if I had set up a better irrigation system than watering by hose and hand every day. :/ We have a week-long vacation coming up in September, and I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to do so everything doesn't die!

New thing that makes me feel good - my 18yo coming in to hug me and thank me for helping him with college loan paperwork. He can be a PITA sometimes, but he really is a sweet kid when he wants to be.

That's sweet, Denton

So many negative things always said about teens (which is of course is the case sometimes, too!), but it's nice to hear some sweet stuff....makes me feel less intimidated by it, for when mine are that age

Mama to oneone, and a brand new!

I am loving hymns right now. They always seem to spark true worship over contemporary music.

AMEN! Our church is super-dee-duper traditional, and I really love that aspect of it.

I went camping with my 2 teens and my 2 teen cousins. I am so thankful for the trip. It was great to look around the campfire and listen to their personalities and humor and think "I am so happy to have these young people in my life." I remembered their younger years and the energy that went into raising these small small people, and felt gratitude for putting that energy in, because today, as they all emerge into their own adult beings, I am so thankful for them. Raising a child can have it's difficult days, but in the end, those stages of life are so so short. But the work we put into those short short years gives back for many many years to come.

I've been re-watching Downton Abbey while my sister is visiting. I paint and work on my creative outlet projects while she watches the series for the first time. It's been so nice to sit in silent (adult) company!

Also, brownies with milk before bed. And audiobooks.

Something that makes me feel good that I haven't mentioned yet: sleeping naked. I am normally a pajama sleeper, but lately I am preferring naked.
