I hope this is it!

We are leaving for the hospital now. It's an hour away and I hope it's not too late. I don't think it is but my history of fast birth makes me nervous! No highway babies!!!!

I will update when I can

Well...I am here and plan to stay. Was a bit disappointed to find I was still a 2. I would have sworn I was going to at least 4! I had a ton of mucus and "bloody show" again and the contractions were very uncomfortable. Anyway, baby is -1 station which is encouraging and my contractions are strong and steady. I'm fighting the thoughts of "what if it all fizzles out and I still have days ahead of me."

So that's the update. Gonna get some coffee soon and sneak some food

Aww, I'm right there with you (-1 and dilated to a 2) except for the painful contractions. I haven't had any that scared me into going to the hospital. I hope you have your baby soon, though, since you are past your due date at this point.

Four children. Just welcomed our newest member on 2/12!

3 cm but baby has moved up a bit. It's okay- I'm just thrilled that things are progressing. Doing some pelvic engagement techniques.

I didn't dilate and the contractions were oddly painful. I've given birth naturally twice now so I know what contractions feel like for me at various stages. After talking things over with my OB and DH, I made the difficult and humbling decision to allow a mild pit induction and epidural. So that's what's going on now. I'm waiting and hoping this ends soon and ends well.

I do not like the way the epidural makes my legs feel so I am fighting a bit of anxiety and doing a lot of wiggling of my legs. Those of you who pray, please pray for me and this birth. This is not what I expected at all and I just want a vaginal birth.

You should still be able to feel it when the baby moves down and you're ready to push. I guess I am just used to surrendering the use of my legs. I will be praying for you.

Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?

7 cm! I'm numb on one side and not so numb on the other so I do feel stuff. Kinda wish I wasn't so numb on the one side. Agh! I am so ready to be done. Exhausted mentally and physically.

Yay for 7cm. If you can lay on the side that is not as numb, it might even out. Usually works for me. Go cagnew!

Joshua Glenn is here! My smallest baby at 7lb 5oz. He was posterior, just like I thought. We found something out after he was born that made me very thankful we chose to go thru with the induction.

He is having a rough time nursing but we will work on it. I am exhausted!
