m/c this morning

Hi ladies... I just m/c this morning. I'm actually fine emotionally, I felt something was amiss when my symptoms slowed down a few days ago and I no longer "felt" pregnant. Talking my husband off a ledge has been harder than dealing with my own emotions, actually. At 38 years of age, it was bound to happen at least once.

Best of luck to all of you on your journeys!

Me (38), DH (47) and big Z (2 1/2)
m/c 07/14 and Baby EDD: 5/24/15! Stick, baby, stick!

Oh no MM. Was this your first
mc? It's hard no matter what or when. Take some time for yourself to grieve. My husband was so upset with my last mc - it affected him even more than me that time I think.

Big Hugs

I am really sorry I had a miscarriage in May (my first child) so I understand. I too did okay emotionally but it still sucks.

I wish you the best of luck in the future <3

Thank you so much, everyone! It helps to know that so many of you have been through it (although I wished it never happened to anyone!!). I was doing fine until someone IRL who I'm very close to said something along the lines of it being my fault, and I momentarily lost it. However, I've come to terms with that person's ignorance and I'm moving on. Thanks again!!!

That's awful about that person IRL.
:: hugs ::

I just discovered something early this morning that I thought was very thought provoking: http://www.cafemom.com/journals/read...e_Baby_Catcher

Thinking of you... Take care... Other people can say some of the most ignorant things. Even statements that are meant to be supportive can sometimes sound terrible...
