Underwear?

Any suggestions for good, mostly cotton, underwear? I tried some Hanes or FTL or something from wal mart when I first jumped sizes but they are already losing the little stretch they have. VS are great, really well made & long lasting, but so expensive, even on sale.

I too am lookin for better undies. My mom got me some hanes in what I thought was a bigger size but the waste band feels a little tight. I told my mom they will only work for a little while.

Apparently my opinion that $5 per pair of VS is expensive is uninformed. Everything else is MORE. I think I'll get 8 or 9 pairs of VS & treat myself to jockey next year.

Yep, I would say go for VS even if they do cost a bit more. As I can't get them here I'll probably end up with Bonds as they are the best I can find....and they run $10-20 each!!

VS= Victoria's secret

VS - Victoria's Secret. Yep they have the best undies I have found. And they do last. They have online sales too.
I normally buy the ones that come in a three pack at Walmart, they are very low under the belly. I think they are no bounrdys or something like that.... I guess those two stores are the only place I've ever bought undies.

Haha, I still have some stored away somewhere, just have to dig them out. And yes, postage from USA to AUS is still insane.

I really don't like wearing them under the belly. Is that the only way?

I did it! I got new underwear! I ALMOST bought the VS stuff. $80 for 11 pairs i think it was (including tax & shipping). And I really didn't want to patronize them. And I really hate their shipping policy. So I decided to wait & go to the Jockey outlet on the weekend. Big sale! And I got 12 pairs & a pair of PJ pants for $60. So glad I waited.

Eternity - I hadn't noticed you were an Aussie. I have a coworker from there & we've talked about how crazy the shipping is!

I usually just wear what I have and then enjoy buying new, non-stretched out ones afterward. Lol

I am now having trouble with all my underwear. Even the new ones I thought were in a bigger size. They all chafe me like crazy lately between my legs. It is so annoying. Any advice for this? Maybe I just need to switch to an even bigger size. Does anyone know about pregnancy specific undies?

I got some at Motherhood during my first pregnancy that were cut low for the belly. Maybe I never got the correct size after trying two, but they were just as uncomfortable as my Walmart ones. I'm going to have to restock on underwear soon because so many of mine are falling apart due to the awesome Walmart quality. Do you all just get he bikini style? Is there a different style that works better for our beautiful growing bellies?

I just ordered 5 pairs on sale from VS. I like the Pink Ruched Shortie Panty because they don't bunch or ride up like others do...the only thing is the pink stuff is Jr sized. I'm a small person and the mediums are what I wear.
Everyone is shaped different, so it's hard to say "these are the perfect undies" trail and err seems to be the only way to find the right ones.

I like the jockey "string" bikini. They aren't low cut but every maternity top I own in so long I'm not worried about it. They sit under my belly fine & they are cotton but stretchy enough for comfort. Oh & a full coverage back.

Is the chafing from the underwear or from legs touching /rubbing together?

I think it was from the underwear. It was just a problem I was having a few weeks pack for several days in a row. Sometimes I feel like my clothes are too tight. But I bought some bigger underwear. It seems to be helping
