Push Presents

Hi All!

One of my friends mentioned the concept of a push present to me-- I guess it's a present that the father gives to the mother as appreciation for carrying his child and vise versa. Not too sure if this is correct, but can anybody tell me more about this or maybe give some suggestions to what push presents would be appropriate? My hubby said I could pick one out myself, but I'm not even sure what a push present is! If you've received any, show me!

I did some research and I found some things that I thought were push presents:

https://redcjewels.com/product/baby2b-earring/

or some of the things on this list:

Not too sure if you're supposed to give the gift during the pregnancy or after?

My DH got me a gift after each birth. With the first he got me a really nice yoga mat id been wanting, with baby #2 he got me a beautiful necklace with a nest charm. Inside the nest were two eggs, one with DD's birthstone (aquamarine) & one with DS's birthstone (emerald). So sweet and such a surprise.

I sort of really like this idea. Maybe that's because I am a gifts person...
My cousin has an "anniversary" band for every child she has. I have known other people to receive this as well.

My husband said I could select my own gift as well. My mom got a gold band with diamond pave for each of me and my sisters. She had them dipped to be white-gold and my sisters and I each wear them now. I guess it's whatever you want, depending on your budget. I'm looking into a light necklace that I can always wear to remind me of my birth. I had thought about getting something with the birthstone, but I don't really like January's stones (garnet) haha! My friend got additional charms for her pandora bracelet too.

I want a charm bracelet. With my last I think I wanted one too. I think I will just keep telling my husband. His sister is a jeweler. His mom helps him pick out jewelry for me. I was looking just now. They all look similar. I think I want some charms for my kids, and for my husband and pets.

Apparently I am getting 2 lol though I hadn't thought of them as such. A bottle of very lovely & somewhat expensive port & a bottle of honey whiskey. I promise I'm not a lush, there is a story behind those. It will easily take me a couple years to finish both!
