Hello all, just wanted to start something! My name is Yolanda I'm 33 years old. DH and I are expecting #8 on April 13th. We have 3DS, 1DD, 2DS, and 1DD in that order. I come from a large family and couldn't imagine life any other way. I live in Florida (love it everyday)!!! Very excited to start this journey again.
Hello Yolanda! Congratulations on your family, it must be so rewarding having so much love in your home, and so lovely for you to be expanding it. I truly believe that children are blessings. I'm so happy to see the club open I'm alittlemischief, 25 , expecting a bundle of squish on either the 5th or 7th April depending on whether due date is calculated by lmp or ovulation. I have a gorgeous son aged 3.5 and I'm so blessed to be his mam (not mom in this house- we are welsh) looking forward to getting to know all the April ladies and bumps
Yay! I am expecting my fourth child in early April (or maybe late March). I am pretty excited, but I am going to have to adjust to parenting a baby again!
Hello Ladies I'm Rebekkah, not around much since DS was born 2.5yrs ago! DH and I are now expecting #2 , sometime between April 7-14 (it was a really weird cycle). So glad to see this DDC up! I still keep up with my Dec 2011 ladies on FB, Mothering DDCs are the best.
Congrats on all the pregnancies! We are expecting #3 April 10! I have a 7 year old and a 15 month old boys! Hoping for a girl this time; I'm afraid this will be our last I would have another but this one came as quite of a shock to hubby. I'm still nursing the youngest so am anxious to see how being pregnant and nursing will go; am very excited to tandem nurse! Wish you all happy healthy pregnancies
Same here! Well, #2 for us, but also our last, and I'd be happy with either but would like a girl this time! @youngsoul, I'm hypothyroid all the time and hoping to escape this pregnancy without gestational diabetes!
Hello! Happy to see this DDC open since I've been lurking in the March one for a while
I'm hoping for #3 around April 7. I have a 6yo DD and 3yo DS (still nursing him often). I'll be 40 next month so I'm a bit nervous about this pregnancy and starting over with a new LO!
I also am hypothyroid only during pregnancy so I'm taking meds for that...anyone else?
Anyway, looking forward to getting to know you all, and hoping we all have happy and healthy pregnancies!
Hi youngsoul, I'm hypo. Actually, I had a total thyroidectomy and RAI due to thyroid cancer, so I have no thyroid at all, and all the hormones I have I have to take ;-) Are you seeing an endocrinologist during your pregnancy in addition to an OB?
Hi everyone! My partner and I have been ttc for about 18 months now. (I am 44, she is 33) I ttc without success early last year. We decided it might be more "productive" if my partner carried on ttc and surprisingly we got pregnant on her first try last July. We found out we were dealing with a blighted ovum and subsequently had a miscarriage last year in September. I am so pleased to say we are pregnant again and looking forward to our first US in about 2 weeks. Our due date is April 15 based on iui/ovulation date. This will be our first little one (or ones). Best wishes to everyone for a well developed LO and easy pregnancies! :thumb
Hi everyone, in serena. I'm 38 and due #2 on April 13th. My dd is just 11months so this came as a little shock. I hope this is a great DDC I'm still friends with all my last DDC. It will be good to get to know you all.
I'm Rebekah, very early pregnant (due April 22). This will be my fourth if I don't miscarry (have had 4 m/c). I am 36 and my dh is almost 46. Trying not to obsess over every symptom (did they go away? Etc). It is hard when you find out so early (8dpo)
I'm smay, 28 and hub is also 28. I have a 15mo old DD, still nursing. Waiting for first midwife appt. in the first week of Sept. (DD was a home water birth). I'm guessing my due date is somewhere between April 5-11th. Excited, but it's still surreal until we hear that little heartbeat!
HI all! I'm Stephanie, and I think I'm the only one on here who's having baby #1 ! I'm excited to have all you pro moms as my resource, because this is all new for me. We're expecting around April 17th I think, and we have our first midwife appointment on Monday 8/18. We're planning on having a homebirth. So exciting!!
@chickweed I'm planning a home water birth this time, so even though it's not my first pregnancy, in hoping it's my first natural, staying in control birth. I'm open to joint resource sharing if you or I (or anyone else in the club) find interesting tips/advice regarding natural labour and homebirth.
Hello all so glad to be here😀!!! I'm Victoria,28 and my darling S/o is 29 are expecting or first together April 9th he has a 20month old and I have a 7 y.o and 19 month old. I have had 2 prior c section and I'm trying to find a doctor willing to allow me to a vba2c.
Mrs Bonjangles we are in the same boat hoping for a girl this time around.
Hi mamas! I'm Ruth. I have a 7.5year old dd and a 16 month old ds, so this will be baby #3 ! Ds is all nursing on demand, and I saw that a couple others are in a similar situation this baby is due around April 17. Ds will be 2 on April 8, so I see shared birthday parties in the future!
I had an early miscarriage in June, so I'm a little cautious, but hopeful that this baby sticks!
I'm 34, dh is 31. Sorry for any typos! My autocorrect has a mind of its own.
My name is also Ruth! I am due with our 3rd on April 11. DS 1 just turned 5 and DS2 will be 3 next month! This past April I miscarried 5 days after my bfp. I'll be 36 when this baby comes and I am hoping, that it isn't a big deal that I decline a bunch of extra age related testing.
I have been reading up on you ladies, so here is a bit about me. I am 37 years old, and expecting our 9th baby. I'm due somewhere around April 11th, but will have an early ultrasound this Friday, due to previous tubal surgery (to rule out ectopic), so I should have a good date.
I homeschool, have had medicated births, home birth, natural hospital birth, and I non-vax, CD, and BF.
We have a 17.5 year old son, a 12 year old son, an 11 year old daughter, a 9 year old daughter, a 5 year old son, 4 year old son, 2 year old son and a 9 month old son.
I am pleased to "meet you", and look forward to sharing the journey to motherhood with all of you!
I'm Jess ...we are expecting #4 mid April ! We have two boys ages 6 & 4) and a little girl 2 yrs old. It's a little crazy around here ...my husband just accepted a new job in a different state, we have decided to homeschool as well as be full time rv'ers when we found out we are expecting this new little one !!
Hello there I'm tentative to post as there is some ambivalence that accompanies this pregnancy, and I hate to lower any enthusiasm, but I would rather be formally introduced and not feel as if I'm a stranger interrupting when posting. Two weeks after getting engaged, Mister and I found out we'll be expecting a little one of our own around April 25th (apparently, we celebrated a bit to enthusiastically LoL)
I've got two littles from my previous marriage (DD4 and DS2) and we've been discussing homeschool as well, Jess, so I do feel you there about the crazy factor! It's nice to meet everyone and I hope we all have a happy and healthy nine months ahead!
Hi all. I am Annemarie. I am due April 2nd but I often go around 38 /39 weeks so I joined march too. This is baby #7 for us. 4 boys and 2 girls (19,16,10,7,3,1) This is a bit of a surprise and I almost 100% sure I ovulated 2x this month. I am already having anxiety about the birth and such. I had a rough time after evie and I am really having a tough time thinking positive thoughts
I know it is difficult to be excited when the fears of a previous experience hang over us. I will be thinking of you, and hope you have a wonderful experience this time around to help you heal.
Hi all, I'm Silverbird and I'm 33. I'm expecting my first baby. It's been a very long road to get here with five rounds of IVF so I'm very nervous. Hoping for a home birth in April.
Nice to see you homeschooling mama's! We are also homeschooling; I've been trying to plan the school year the past month as I am not using a curriculum, so definitely understand the craziness and have slightly given up and just decided to plan a month at a time and see where we are each month. Am wondering how this is all going to go when the baby comes... luckily it is somewhat near the end of the year, so the last few months can be a little more slack.
HI everyone! I am also expecting #3 - I have a 5 year old DD and a 2 1/2 y.o. DS who is still nursing so I may end up tandeming too!
This was HUGE surprise for us - DH was done at 2, I was on the fence about a third but here we are. I am excited, but the timing isn't great because we are currently living and working in Uganda. I had an amazing birth center waterbirth with my 2nd and I don't think I'll be able to have that experience in Uganda! I'm a little nervous about how birth is done here and whether homebirth is an option so I have a lot of research to do.
I am due April 15th, great to meet you all!!:thumb
Hi ladies!! I'm so excited to have gotten the very faintest of faint lines on my pg test this morning! I just experienced an early mc in July, so I'm thrilled to be expecting again and hopefully this LO sticks. I *think* I'm due very end of April, but knowing my babies it will be May before this one shows!
This is #4 for DH and I. We have 3 beautiful, energetic boys aged 5, 4 and 21 mos. My oldest son is technically my step-son, but he has been living with us since he was 8mos old with no contact from his bio-mom so he's mine even though I didn't give birth to him
I'm very excited to get to know you all!
