Midwife says babe is head down-yay, and laying left OA (fun to learn all this stuff), so his little butt or feet at times are right up at the very top of my fundus under my diaphram. Does anybody else get a major skin-stretching sensation there? Like his little body is s-t-r-e-t-c-h-in-g my skin like it's going to rip? It's in the spot that burns when you might do too many sit ups...
My abs at the top of the fundus ache a lot by the end of the day. I do have a 1 year old that I am constantly picking up though I and think its muscle fatigue in my case.
I have had this sensation and my OB says it's normal, especially for breech babies My sweet baby loves to keep her head up underneath my right rib (which seems to aggravate my gallbladder all the more.)
YES! This is exatly how it feels. My mw says it also has a lot to do with placenta placement, when I asked why I didn't remember this from previous pregnancies. Its CRAZY! I also getting like a popping sensation?!
